Shifting Gears
You know, I had the honest intention of giving up on blogging.
Why?
Well, I don't know if you've noticed, but everyone is a blogger these days... It's great to each have our own voice, but after a while... It feels crowded, like we're all struggling to have our voices heard, all shouting over one another to be in the spotlight for a second or two.
That is a frustrating feeling, and I am not really feeling very competitive these days. I've begun to feel like blogging just makes me another voice in the dozens worth dimes.
But I decided I would write anyway. Not necessarily every day or every week, but I am on a path. It is a path that needs to be chronicled, somehow, and whether you care to follow along this journey is up to you.
I always think, when cooking something fun or different, how much I'd like to share this with everyone... Or when making crafts or painting with my son, how I want to share this magical moment. Or when divinity spills grace back into my life even when I had turned away or felt lost, I want to tell someone about it.
This is just an offering from me to you: I want you to feel like you're sitting down for a cup of coffee or a spot of tea with an old friend, catching up on life, laughing together about silly things, and empathizing with one another's defeats and challenges.
Won't you follow me as my journey takes this new turn, if only for us to encourage one another along the way?
